Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 digital release date and platform
Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is all set for its digital premiere on Netflix after its dream run at the box office. The date and time is yet to be decided though.
Fauda’s Indian adaptation, Tanaav’s plot and cast
Sony LIV, in association with Applause Entertainment, will present Tanaav, the Indian adaptation of acclaimed Israeli smashi hit show, Fauda. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Kashmir in the year 2017, Tanaav tells the story of a Special Covert Ops Unit, their bravery and courage. Delving into the human drama behind the ideologies, dealing with complex emotions and flawed characters, all of whom share the same feelings of love, loss, betrayal and revenge – Tanaav is a socio-political action drama with family at its core. Shot extensively in real locations in Kashmir over 100 days, this fast-paced drama will be told over 12 episodes. The stellar cast comprises an eclectic ensemble, including Manav Vij, Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Zarina Wahab, Ekta Kaul, Waluscha De Sousa, Danish Hussain, Satyadeep Mishra, Sukhmani Sadana, Sahiba Bali, Amit Gaur, Arslan Goni, Rockey Raina, M.K. Raina, Sheen Dass and Arryaman Seth amongst others.
Sukhmani Sadana on Amazon miniTV’s Udan Patolas
Amazon miniTV’s romedy web series, Udan Patola, revolves around four friends – Punni, Lovelle, Amrit, and Noor – who relocate to Mumbai from a small town to live their dreams of blending in the city’s high society. Speaking about her part in the show, actor-writer Sukhmani Sadana said, “My character, Lovelle, is guarded and very secretive. Nobody knows what’s going on inside her mind. Despite being a writer of this show, I found it very difficult to crack the character because of her grey layers. Honestly, it’s easier to pick a black or a white, but Lovelle has a very complex character. I am happy that I got the opportunity to play this character, which has taught me a lot. It was like a dream come true.”
Raveena Tandon rejected twenty scripts prior to Aranyak
Raveena Tandon, who gave a smashing performance in one of Netflix’s rare good Indian web series, Aranyak, revealed that she rejected about twenty scripts prior to signing the show, in order to avoid being typecast or pick up something where her character would be weak as she always wants the audience to remember her for her versatility.
Samarat Prithviraj to release beforehand on Amazon Prime
Given the colossal disaster Prithviraj has turned out to be at the box office, having all but exited every theatre across the country way before anticipated and with a paltry lifetime collection likely to wind up at about a measly ₹70 crore nett, word is that YRF is likely to release the Akshay Kumar starrer way before intended, around the first week of July on Amazon Prime
