Did Ranbir Kapoor just compare Brahmastra with Marvel? Here’s what the actor said!

Brahmastra is undoubtedly Ranbir Kapoor’s most ambitious project with a friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. Ranbir Kapoor trusted the vision of his buddy and said yes to the film 5 years ago. And now finally the film will be releasing in September and the actor has kick-started the promotions of the film with Ayan sans wifey and Alia Bhatt ho plays the lead in the film. Alai is right now in London shooting for Hollywood’s debut. While in his recent interaction with variety Ranbir compared Brahmastra with Marvel. An excited actor talking about Brahmastra said, ” It’s deeply rooted in Indian culture, and we had the opportunity to create our own Marvel, which Ayan is trying to do with his Astraverse. He further went on to add, ” There is a little luck to it – like what kind of release you get, what kind of exposure you get. And in our case, we have Disney. And there’s nothing better than that. So, I believe that Brahmastra is in a great place where we have that opportunity, where a world audience can witness it”.

This is not like a Marvel film. In its genre, it is very original.

While in his interaction with PTI, Ranbir clarified that Brahmastra cannot be compared with any film, ” This is not like a Marvel film. In its genre, it is very original. We can’t compare ‘Brahmastra’ to any film that is made around the world. I am a big movie watcher and I have seen every film that is out there. There is no reference to this film”. While the teaser of the film has kept the audience hooked and they are waiting to watch the trailer and the film soon. Brahmastra is Ranbir‘s most awaited film.

The actor will also be seen next in Shamshera and Animal and has begun the shooting for Sandeep Vanga’s film along with Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna.
