Demi Lovato is back with new music after the release of her studio album ‘Holy Fvck’ last year. The singer released her single ‘Still Alive’ with a music video alongside Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda and Ice Nine Kills‘ Spencer Charnas for the upcoming horror film ‘Scream VI.’
In the newly released energetic rock n’ roll track’s music video, it captures Demi as she takes on the role of ‘Final Girl’ as she faces off with her assailant while she and her friends attend a private screening of ‘Scream VI’ film not to mention the epic cameos from Shinoda and Charnas.
The singer, who is a massive fan of the ‘Scream’ movies, shared that she considers it an honor and privilege to be a part of the soundtrack, which is why she went all out with not only producing the music but also the music video considering the aesthetics, and the notable cameos of artists that she collaborated with to make it come to life.
Demi Lovato’s words about being a part of the ‘Scream’ universe read:
“I couldn’t think of a more perfect home for ‘Still Alive’ than within the ‘Scream’ universe. I’m a huge fan of the films, so it’s an honor to contribute to such an iconic horror franchise.”
‘Scream VI’ picks back up from the last year’s film’s surviving cast members as they leave behind Woodsboro and the Ghostface killings to start a fresh chapter, and Demi’s latest single ‘Still Alive’ will play at the start of the film’s final credits. The movie will be released in theatres worldwide by Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group on March 10, 2023.
