Rihanna gave such a beautiful and emotionally charged performance at this past Sunday’s Oscars as she sang her hit from this year’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Oscar nominated song “Lift Me Up.”
Rihanna took the stage, showcasing her baby bump to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at the 95th annual Academy Awards show Sunday. Rihanna was introduced by none other than, Danai Gurira, who played Okoye in the MCU, introduced Rihanna as “royalty in her own right.” Rihanna, dazzled in a sparkling Maison Margiela Artisanal ensemble custom made for her by John Galliano for Maison Margiela. Her emotional performance earned a standing ovation from the audience (including her super fan boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who raised his glass in celebration) inside Hollywood’s Dolby Theater.
